"Really enjoyed the book. Trying to work out which of my family members is ready to read it. It's certainly lonely being a geocentrist."
Andrew Green, Cheshire.
"Andy Ross and John Hamer’s truly unique book, Sixty Degrees South; Beyond the Ice Wall, has it all—action, adventure, intrigue, mystery, fantasy, history, romance… but better still, it is chockfull of shocking, eye-opening, truth bombs!
While technically classified as a fiction, it is littered with historical facts, rendering it at turns highly educational and wonderfully entertaining.
This riveting page-turner will take you on a fantastical, magical ride, stimulating your imagination, and keeping you up late into the night wondering what really is beyond the ice wall and will any of we plebes ever be able to travel there to find out for ourselves? Ross and Hamer’s rendition of the “other side” may also leave the reader (as it did me) sighing, “if only….” "
Shannon Rowan, USA, Author.
"I really enjoyed reading your book. There was not one dull chapter, full of action and very fast paced. Extremely clever how you added real history and characters from the recent past of the last 100 years, into the story and explained what had happened or why they were murdered. I hope that people will see the real from the fantasy. Saying that, may be a future reality still waiting for us all to find one day. I hope to read the continuation of the story when you have finished writing it. Absolutely Brilliant both of you. Thank you, let's hope we ALL win."

"Having read other books by John Hamer, we bought this new novel written by John and Andy Ross. A compelling read, excellent storyline with with a fusion of fact and fiction. It's a film worthy book. Highly recommended."
Pauline Price.
"Could not put Sixty Degrees South down and loved it. Such exciting info about Amelia Earhart and further info on Richard Byrd who I have researched. Found it a little difficult to get into the generations covered but once there I stayed up all night to finish it!"
Noeline Clayfield, Norfolk.
"Totally engaging read from the off! Can't wait to devour the next instalment. Thank you for producing a book that both entertains and enlightens. It was also such a lovely touch to receive a personalised copy. Much appreciated, come on guys, get 'authoring' on part two please."
Debs Pearce, Hampshire.
"A damn good read in the old fashioned sense - absorbing right from the start."
Jamien Bailey, Author and researcher, Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
"Just had to let you know how much I liked the book. It only took about 20 hours to read, a personal best for me! Excellent stuff thank you."
Anthony Wilford, Malton, North Yorkshire.
"Just finished your book. Fantastic read. Just wish the made up bits were real too! Hopefully one day we’ll find out…Well done to you both and look forward to the next one."
Graeme Stafford, Kilchoan, Scotland.

"This book was a fantastic read, didn't want it to end. Great truth bombs interlaced throughout. These 2 guys need to team up again to do another!"

"Informative and page-turning at the same time. Mixes a human interest story with adventure and the passing on of knowledge, about history, geopolitics etc. Really encourages you to think about why they are so keen not to let anyone past a certain point in Antartica. Something they could all agree on, even at the time of the Cuban Missile crisis!"

"This is the first book that I have read in its entirety for some time, I was up until well past midnight in order to reach the books end last night. I mostly read non fiction and my attention tends to fade as the book goes on whereas in this case the story captivated my attention and I thoroughly appreciated how the authors interlaced a fictional story with much truth. The book has certainly arose a genuine intrigue within me as to the real reason that the ruling establishment is so dead set against ordinary folk going to Antarctica and beyond. This book could easily be made into a movie as the story flows so well from chapter to chapter."

"Maybe one of the best books I’ve ever read. Didn’t want it to end, absolutely un put downable. Great joint effort, Hamer usually doesn’t do fiction so you know a lot of the story isn’t fiction at all.
Certainly gets the old mind cogs turning."

"A clever way to show us the world's biggest secret. I've read many of John's books, and he is thorough in his research. This topic is taboo and can't be reasonably verified, so he has put it into fiction as a cover for conveying what's really going on. I've always wondered why, after elections, COP climate events, WEF at Davos, certain people fly down to Antarctica. Great story. Couldn't put it down."

"This is a really good read. It poises many questions about the world we live in that may disturb some but are hidden in plain sight."

"Great read. Enough truth to open your eyes for a month."

"Great read and very interesting take on the mysteries of Antarctica. The story follows the fortunes of two RAF pilots seconded to the UN interceptor force based on an island in the Southern Ocean. It contains several surprises culminating in the dramatic ending. The authors also cleverly weave into the story, several 'real' incidents, connect them all and construct a plausible alternate view of what is really going on beyond the sixtieth parallel."
